Calling all A/V club members, we have a new challenge for you, the reward will be well worth the effort! Fame, notoriety & a tee shirt!

Blackshirt and I have been working on putting together a new site worstfans.com and we're needing the resident graphic artists to lend their hand to the banner image. The concept is centered around which conference has the worst fans; most obnoxious, rudest, or just pain annoyingest. I've set up polls for each conference to allow people to vote and discuss, to tell their horror stories and such.

We're really wanting to get this site going and to start promoting it with other boards so I'm only going to leave this contest open until next Wednesday. Not going to be very democratic with this one, winner will be chosen by Blackshirt and myself. And now for the best part, the grand prize (probably the best one we've ever had) winner gets a shirt of his choice from HuskerTs.com

Here are my basic concept ideas, and if others have suggestions please post them:

-pic of screaming / slobbering fans

-pic of people throwing things - if possible

-maybe some logos of the most notorious worst fans i.e. CU logo, or maybe a faded image of every conference logo

-pic of people that r about to get into a set of fisticuffs

-under that a slogan along the lines of "Let's settle this once and for all"

-try to keep it unbiased, just because you hate KState don't fill it with kitty cats..

-WorstFans.com in the middle, maybe with a splattered or worn look …

The banner should fit inside the blue area of the attached image, leaving the white border.

sounds cool...maybe I'll take a crack at it if I get some free time.

Couple questions:

1) Do we need to include the above image in our creation? In other words, are you going to layer our image on top of that one...or should we just download that one and flatten it with ours? And are we sticking with that blue gradient color scheme?

2) Can we have multiple submissions?

Answers:

1. Either way's fine, ultimately it will end up in that one so if the submission doesn't have the frame I'll layer it in.

2. Multiple submissions are fine, gives you a better chance of winning.

Haha, thats pretty damn good. perfect pic of those hillbillies. The only reco I might have is to change the bg color to something a little "meaner". baby bloo is a little too nice for this site I believe. :) but you were probably just trying to blend with the original default header image, which isn't necessary to maintain fyi.

okay, that was one of my questions. I didn't know if you guys wanted to keep that blue gradient or not.

Let me see what I can come up with.

changed the BG to make it "meaner"
