Was watching StarWars tonight and realized that when Han Solo is picking up OB1, Luke, C3PO and R2D2 (wow) he has a rag in his hand and is polishing up some things on the Millennum Falcon. What the hell, the thing is bigger then a house what can he possibly accomplish with that little rag. And what is space but the most dangerous and abusive enviroment for something to be in and hes polishing it with a friggin rag. Whats the point han, even if you Rustoleumed that bastard its still 300 degrees hot or cold depending on where you take it. Thats nuts man, make sure it runs alright before you start makeing it look purdy.

So that beggs the question, if you had a spaceship would you spend time polishing it.

I thought "would you polish your spaceship" was some sort of sex metaphor. And my answer was: yes---if I couldn't get anyone else to do it for me.

Now that I know it's a Star Wars thing, my answer is still: yes---if I couldn't get anyone else to do it for me.
