WOW THIS IS BIG

Well there was an interview from Bo, and he says he really loved the Nebraska Atmosphere. If the money and offer was there, he would be on it.

With the Past loss this week it is eminent for Callahan's demise. With a loss from A&M, we have a heeeeeelll of a final lap for a schedule. Texas, Kansas, Kansas State, Colorado. It could be humiliating the outcome of the rest of the year.

Basically my best bets our on offers for Gill or Pelini. Osbourne LOVES Turner. But I believe Pelini is the better coach.

Then there are rumors on Rimington as AD. I would be pleased seeing even more past huskers become involved.
I concur, Pelini is a hell of a good choice, and would have been my original choice before the whole Callahan debacle, and Suzy Kolber's head looked like a nesting place for a bunch of spiders...

Good riddance. This should he stay? or should he go? stuff is not good for anybody and it will not cease until the inevitable happens. I'm not saying we shouldn't talk about it only that something definitive needs to happen so the Program and its fans can move forward. How can five more weeks of this serve anyone's interests, except perhaps for Callahan if he indeed is shamelessly holding out for more money that he obviously hasn't earned?
This I agree with, but unfortunately we are not dealing with a weenie here. Callahan is pissed (I think that everyone can agree to that), and he will not leave without his pound of flesh. If these God-like "boosters" have gone so far as to virtually wipe out the balance of the football season, they should just fire BC and get it over with.

Unless Osborne won't do it.

And that would be a mystery, wouldn't it? I could actually imagine Osborne giving Callahan until the end of the season to do his thing--I do believe that Osborne likes to be known as being a man of his word, and he did say that he would wait.

It could be that TO is just a LITTLE BIT SMARTER THAN Pud, and wants to have his ducks in a row BEFORE he cans him so that he doesn't have to run around like a chicken without a head trying to find a coach!!! Hmmmm, there's a thought.........

But Callahan is clearly antagonizing him.

At this point, I believe that Osborne could fire him for "unspecified issues." But it would cost him, and that would mean that Callahan wins.

Interesting indeed, but I actually do wish that Callahan would just go. What's done is done, and it is irreversable.
Sorry, this should have gone here....

That makes the most sense, I agree with you. Let's hope that's what's happening and for anyone who still thinks BC actually cares about this program, you'd have to wonder why he never even considered bringing in a new D-coordinator. Any coach who was actually worried about being fired or cared about his job would have made a change, but he didn't because he knew he was going to lose his job and is just trying to get paid. Everyday that goes by with him still running the team makes me sicker and sicker!

How about this everyone. Do not fire Callahan.

Change his job description to include:

Janitorial service at the Chancellor's residence, Governor's Mansion, TO's home, and the whole 95 team's homes. Plus polish all 14 levels of steps in the Capital Building. Hire a Head Coach Administrative Aide to preside over the team until BC's current contract is over. But there has to be a "adequate performance clause" with all those cleaning duties. One water spot or untended stain. . . .GONE. No parachute, nuthin'.

Maybe additional duties as determined to include but not limited to detasselling(no not strippers, corn) baling of hay, dehorning calves and branding. Gettin' a feel for Nebraska now, hmmmmm.

I say he walks.
 Rawhide for AD.

But the thing is....In response to Husker X...... Nebraska won National titles from the walk on homegrown system. Anybody Cornfed as a baby can play football.. It is in the DNA.

With former huskers, you bring in guys who have the knowledge of how to make the fans happy and satisfied.
