Yes, I do agree. Unrelated but something funny I found at the 1:32-1:45 mark in that video. The two kids standing in the back appear to be mocking him.

He will improve as he works hard. He looks like he has the ability to have some good gains before his senior season.

As far as weight wise, he could probably do more but his form looks good on both. The only thing I didn't like was that he was bouncing the bar of his chest on bench and he could slow down when doing the lifts.

Does he realize that it doesn't count as a max if the spotter keeps his hands on the bar the entire time?

You guys who are critical of how much he (a highschool WR prospect) can lift are pretty funny. I'm sure Matt Davison was not as strong at this point... Heck, I'd pay money to see what everyone's max bench press (verified) and 40 times (verified) were. It would make for a very comical thread.

I don't think he was showing off his max, I think he was doing his (or his schools version) of Bigger-Faster-Stronger.

This is a workout video, thats it, not a power lifting competition video.
