Big Red Report: :star :star :star

Assessing the talent: ESPN evaluation: "Thompson is a wide receiver with good size and a strong build, but he is strictly a possession guy with great hands and is at his best in the underneath passing game working against zone defense. Is at his best on the inside where he can work the short and intermediate range routes, settle into soft spots in zone defense and get himself open." Odds of becoming a Cornhusker: 5%. He likes BYU and is checking out some Pac 10 schools. We are most prestigious program to offer...a visit would have to blow him away or otherwise he is likely a longshot. Recent link here: http://nebraska.rivals.com/content.asp?cid=820062

Eh, don't really mind this one being a longshot. I like our chances at Brady Brown and I'd say he would give us some big-play ability along with the solid route-running and hands.

sorry i have to say this, and dont be bothered by it either....I HATE MORMONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THEY BEAT OUR BASEBALL TEAM IN THE STATE CHAMPIONSHIP!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GAL DANGIT!!!!!!!!

Not a big miss, I'd rather have had Brady Brown and we backed-off of him a bit from what I understand.
