What is the purpose of a thread?

To group common discussion.

Now, not all walk-ons require threads as we post once/twice about them. Cool, we made a big thread.

We currently have 3 threads about Kade, one here, one in the football forum, and 50+ responses in the walk-on thread. If people want to discuss Kade, give them a common place to do so before you make everything else a clusterf#@k.

That's just more philosophical, "what-is-a-web-forum-for" type stuff.
