I am in denial. I waited all year for this football season and things started off so swimmingly, then the sky fell. This week I have been in a sort of denial. Hardly looking at articles, sites, and begrudgeingly placing this week's football picks in my fantasy league.

and then gameday came on and I saw the Oregon fans who showed up in the dark and at 6 am for a night game. Then I read a thread on here about it being game day. Then I turned on the pre-game. And I realized that I love college football and that everything will be alright it's just not our time-yet. And I realized that we really are a part of something that is special.

I get totally fired up when Big and Rich belt out 'Were Comin' To Your City' at the beginning of Game Day. College football is absolutely the King of the Hill. The NFL is huge but for different reasons, (betting, fantasy, media hype, ect., ect.) but for just pure fun college reigns supreme.

I personally think that Big & Rich are pretty lame. I much preferred Bubba Sparxxx's "Back in the Mud" remix from 2004.
