Your Bold 2020 Predictions

Ok, time to make some bold predictions on what you think may occur in 2020 in the world of news, politics, etc.  By Bold - I do not mean predicting there will be more than 3 Dems in the NH primary.  Bold is going out on the limb on the 1 % chance it may occur (or 49.9 % chance of it happening).  Here is my list for a starter (you can come up wt other topics from culture, etc besides the ones I list):

A. 2020 Presidential  Election

1. Dems will have a brokered convention as the top 7 candidates split the delegate vote

2. The Dem convention settles on a compromise ticket :   Sen Warren, Pres.  & Sen Klobuchar  - creating the first all female ticket, mixing a progressive and a moderate

3. Donald Trump counters by giving Mike Pence his walking papers (Mike tells us he is "Honored" to have been associated with Trump 5x in his goodbye speech at the convention).  Trump originally

picks former UN Ambassador Nikki Haley who turns him down - holding out for the coveted Sec of State job - more high profile position - to increase her chances in the 2024 election.

Trump's 2nd choice accepts with over the top gratitude - Sen Marsha Blackburn from Tenn. 

4.  Trump loses Michigan and Penn and one of the farm states he won in 2016 - Iowa, Wisc, Mo.   Warren is elected president

Politics:

1.  A majority of Senators vote to convict Trump f but not enough to remove him from office

2.  San Fran Nan announces at the end of 2020 & after the election that she will be retiring from the House.  Creating a mad rush of candidates to fill her House Speaker position

3. In a huge shocker, The Turtle is defeated in the Kentucky   Senate race

International:

1. Trump signs 'DEALS" with China on trade and wt NK on nuclear in OCTOBER - trying to create his own October surprise.

Both deals favor China and NK and Trump personally.   NK agrees to let Trump build a casino/hotel complex on the warm, winter, beaches of eastern NK (Trump doesn't know geography and thinks NK is warm in the winter).  China creates a special loophole for Ivanka's products to sell in China.

2. We are still talking about Brexit in Dec.

3. US turns the guarding of the Syrian oil fields over to our 'friends' the Turks and the Russians.  Iraq asks the US to pull out all troops from their country.   Afgan follows 3 months later.  The void gives

Russia influence from India to the boarders of Israel. 

4. One of the G-8 leaders dies suddenly in office from an illness.

Trump wins in a land slide but dies from an overdose of McDonald's, KFC and speed the night of the election. Mike pence becomes President and names don jr his vp and then resigns and we have Donald Trump II.

Won't happen--the Speaker of the House becomes VP, and the MAGA crowd would OD on meth and Facebook memes if Nancy Pelosi becomes VP.

i think that is close...but i understand it a bit different   pence would become president and he would nominate a vp who would then have to be confirmed by both houses of congress.  if that doesn't happen then by default the speaker becomes vp (or president if pence is also removed)

More on this.    Pretty amazing how Trump takes action and so quickly Russia is ready to assist Iraq (against the USA -  how ironic is that). Almost like there was a puppet in the WH doing the the bidding of Putin in making Russia the primary force in the MidEast. 

Go figure  - maybe just a coincidence  :dunno
