Texas Tech's high-powered offense failed to show up Saturday, barely scoring in a 12-3 loss to No. 16 TCU. Coach Mike Leach was his usual outspoken self on Monday, blaming the Red Raiders' dismal showing on what he said were "prima donnas" who have gone "soft."

I wonder if this is also why some people love Leach. I think he's done a good job, but damn dude.

Calling his players "posers," "front-runner showboats" and "prima donna pretty boys," Texas Tech coach Mike Leach continued to fume about what he said was a lack of effort in Saturday's 12-3 loss to TCU. During his weekly news conference Monday, Leach said he was frustrated at having to coax veteran players to play harder and vowed to make changes.

Does that make them the Dumbest team in college football??? I agree...I was laughing how some in here were applauding what he was saying about his team! Texans where I am living are just about fed up with Leach! :hmmm

name calling...that's a way to motivate your team and get them fired up...it's not gonna make them feel like sh#t or anything :hmmm :hmmm :hmmm :hmmm

it's weak. And a copout. Calling out his players? TCU has the nation's longest winning streak and beat T-Tech. There's always an excuse when a team loses, never an excuse when a team wins. They got beat good by a real good football team. (Sound familiar?) Leach needs to take the pill and swallow it. Man up. Admit it and move on.

That's just not right. We had a horrible game Saturday at Texas State and our coach didn't call anyone out in public, although he certainly could have. That kind of stuff should stay in the locker room.
