Why I support Romney

Why does no one want to talk foreign policy about who is better for president? In my opinion, our foreign policy is going to be the deciding factor for the US staying strong. I personally won't vote for Romney because his foreign policy will make the U.S look like idiots.

I'm willing to talk foreign policy, it's just that the list of nonsense about Romney is so long:

Flip-flopping on issues.

Changing political polarity from primaries to general election (shake the etch-a-sketch)

Mathematically impossible tax plan

Taking us back to the stone age by repealing Obamacare

47%

A campaign based nearly entirely on lies

Intention to start another war (Iran)

Romneyshambles tour of England, Poland and Israel

...

The list goes on. Really, we just haven't gotten to it yet.

Just to list a few.....
And how many of those are commonly recited here?

Again, I'm not saying the Democratic party doesn't try to offer sound bite messages. I'm saying that Republicans here seem much more likely to regurgitate the party derp (job creators, class warfare, etc). You might have said a few of those yourself . . .

BRB - I don't listen to the democrats. I never have.

And, I don't listen to the Republicans.

Stop accusing me of just repeating Republicans catch phrases and I won't accuse you of doing the same thing.

Just because your views are more in line with Democrats, doesn't mean you are a blind follower of them. Don't accuse me of the same thing. I am very quick to criticize the Republicans and the conservative media machine.

My comment was based around the accusation that Republicans only use short catch phrases and that is the only thing they have to go on.
Could you link to me making the accusation "that Republicans only use short catch phrases"?

I really needed to do this? Sometimes having a discussion with you is like running in circles.

We can certainly agree on that! The GOP is orders of magnitude better at simplistic easily repeatable sound bites. Maybe it's because GOP voters are far more likely to repeat them? (job creators, class warfare, war on Christmas, apology tour, etc.)
Who needs facts when you've got a Luntz-ian slogan handed to you?

I have used "class warfare" numerous times and will continue to use it as long as the dems keep it at the top of their blame list. You can call it party derp if you like but I don't know what else to call it when Obama consistently is trying to blame every economic problem on the 1% or the wealthy or the rich or those making over $250,000 or whatever point of delineation he is using at the time. I remember another society about 70 years ago that used one sector of the society to blame all their economic woes on. You might say that didn't turn out too well.

What? Are you trying to conflate advocating for not reinstating the Bush tax cuts for the wealthiest Americans and "blam[ing] every economic problem on the 1%"?

Can you show a single instance where Obama blamed every economic problem on the wealthy?

Yet you have repeated, verbatim, their Luntzian catchphrases. Meanwhile, you'll never hear me quoting any Democrat mouthpiece.

It wouldn't feel like running in circles if you wouldn't play so fast and loose with the facts. Don't try to substitute straw men and you won't run into as many problems.

I'll repeat: Where did I say that only Republicans use short catch phrases?
