That's a tough one. I know I couldn't date a smoker.

If you're close, you might honestly just sit down with her and shoot it to her straight. Just somehow tell her that you would like to date her, but the fact that she smokes is holding you back.

I'm student teaching right now and my cooperating teacher was a smoker when he and his wife first started dating. He said that after a short while of dating, she told him that if he didn't stop smoking, he would be single soon haha. Needless to say, he stopped smoking, but something tells me that type of thing wouldn't work if it were the guy who said it.

This. Gotta be honest. Dont waste your time if you dont have to any longer with something that personlly bothers you. Tell her how you feel about it. Either a compromise can be worked out or she'll pick smoking over you. Either way, you'll be happier in the long run if you dont hide feelings for the sake of getting along. Me and my wife have pretty much a perfect marriage because we do not hide things that bother us for the sake of getting along all the time.

 
I hate when people say "irregardless".

I hate when people say someone is "dominate", when they mean "dominant".

I hate that only 24% of the U.S. population knows how to spell definitely.

I hate that I let such trivial things bother me.

Agree with you here. A hot girl loses about 4 points when she smokes. I could never date a smoker, I hate the smell, and kissing a smoker is disgusting.

Might as well let her know now man. Let us know how it goes.

 
Yeah, I dated a smoker in college. I can you for a fact that her smoker breath did not have any negative effects whatsoever on my d!(k.

 
Quick solution to the smoking problem:

1. Get some strike anywhere matches.

2. Cut off match heads.

3. Empty out some of the tobacco from her cigs.

4. Place a match head in each cig.

5. Refill with tobacco and pack tightly.

6. Watch her burn her face.

7. ???

8. Profit
