You play like you practice. Bo's practices are likely a unorganized mess of penalty laden play. In his tenure we avg 2 more penalties a game than our opponents. Does anyone here believe the route to the top of CFB is done by committing more penalties than your opponent?

Also, if we get caught for an avg of more than 2 penalties a game just imagine the ones we get away with.

It's funny how many times we feel the penalties are BS and we use it as an excuse. There is something seriously wrong in this department and it isn't a conspirecy.

Those PI calls were 100% legit, on how much I hate to say that. Both times, we had an arm wrapped around a WR. Your going to get a flag EACH time you do this. We will get it going... be patient.

Awful early for you derpers. Fans loved the physicality of the secondary when Gomes, price, Haag,etc were doing the same thing. It will come with a physical secondary. And I love that style of play

Not derping. It's a fact that we incur more penalties than our opponents 68% of the time. You can be aggressive and not incur penalties at a breakneck pace. Also if it were due to aggressive play and not sloppy play one would think our turnover margin would be far better.

Yeah, just fire everybody! Clean house and there will be no more penalties!

Seriously though, our DBs play physical. It is not a problem. It's football, and good defenses are physical. I get that we will get flags every once in a while as a result of this physical style in the secondary, but both of those PI penalties were really ticky tack. Especially the one against SJB. That's called blanket coverage, not pass interference.

OK then......why do we have so many? I'm mad about getting them and costing us plays, yardage, etc. We are shooting ourselves in the foot too much. This game wouldn't even be close. But then again, I say it week after week. When will be our time to have THAT GAME. YOU KNOW....WHEN WE BLOW A GOOD TEAM OUT?
