How would you play Burkhead against Minnesota?

Burkhead says he is pretty close to 100%. Saturday is Senior Day and it would "mean the world" to Burkhead for him to play in Memorial Stadium one last time.

So how would you go about running him against Minnesota?

I originally said bench him. Changed it to limited carries. Forgot it was Senior Day.

I'd play him for a fool.

I'd be all "Hey Rex, I've got some Tootsie Pops in my bag but I forgot it in the locker room."

He would respond with eager giddiness, "My man, I will go get them if I can have some!", to which I will agree.

However, as he believes he's entering the locker room, he's actually entering a scale replica of it that is really a cage designed to trap him. I then agree to let him go and give him Tootsie Pops if he takes off all his pads (not what you think, hold on.)

Little does Rex know that I'm actually tricking him and won't let him go at all, but I put on his gear for my chance at Husker glory on the field.

Maybe start him just to pump up the crowd, and because it's Senior day.

But after that, no more than 10 carries.

Start him at QB and do nothing but safe handoffs all day. Gets him on the field and saves both Rex and Taylor from further injury!

Its Senior Day, he needs to play in limited role only. We will need him if we make it to the championship game.

It would be great to see Rex start then limited carries. Having him 100% for the CCG it would be worth it.

The only problem here is, the few games he's played this year, he's broke off monster runs on his first couple carries. I could see him starting, and going to just a few carries, and then breaking off about a 70 yarder on his first carry and getting hurt again

Put him in for a halfback pass - first play off the game. Then rest that knee for the next two weeks.

I give him the start and let him run the first series than probably see where he's at from there. I would definately put him in to fair catch punts though no matter how much else he plays the rest of the game at HB.
