Distasteful User Name

I PM'd him and this was his response:

Hey thanks for the message. I'm giving you my sincere pitch on why I think you should let me keep the username:

I Think since i just joined people think I'm trolling with my username, but I'm not, I'm only looking for a free place to Talk husker football (happy to be here). My username is a joke, though I found some people thought it was distasteful, I don't think you can satisfy everyone. Of course I don't think he should be freed, he did something that warrants incarceration. But Lawrence Phillips has been one of my favorite players I've ever seen put on the husker jersey. His qualities as a human are pathetic but his qualities as a FB player mesmerized me as a kid when i watched him play. He's one of my favorite players of all time. There's a popular t shirt that floats around NE with a picture of LP's mugshot on a red tee that says Free LP. My username is a reference to that t shirt and overall that he's one of my favorite huskers of all time. I hope you will reconsider. If not, I will brainstorm new ones.

P.S. I'll find a new picture, its no problem since you did make it clear that you want a family friendly website (but for the record that picture is just censoring his pointer finger, at first glance of the origunal it just looks like his middle finger). I just want to make it known that I am a huge Bo supporter, and especially of his sideline demeanor. Where other folks cringe when he blows up I eat it up, because I still remember the depression of the Callahan years and the utter lack of caring.

I told him he should still come up with a new username, and he's gone back to posting without responding. I put him on Mod approval without altering his warning status, and I've unapproved his posts, but he's still on the front page as the newest member.

 
His posts seemed alright. I read one and was wondering why it was unactivated...but yeah, he seems like a reasonable guy. Once he brainstorms a new one we can approve his posts again.

 
It's inactive because of the user name. Otherwise his posts are OK, after a quick glance. And yes, I'll approve all his posts again once he comes up with a better name.
