Not sure why people are getting pissed at Beck's play call on that 3rd down. The ball should have been caught. I don't have a problem with it. Contrary to what everyone thinks, it's not a good idea to run the ball 10 out of 10 times.

I think that was more on the FB and Martinez being rushed than anything...that FB was open, and the pass was behind him. Tough catch to make...but it appears the call was right to just move the chains.

I am so sick and tired of these short 3rd downs and we pass. We did it under Watson and I hated it. Sadly it still continues with Beck. Most of his offense is pretty decent, but when it comes to lining up and just smashing down their throats on a short 3rd & 3....he has to go all cute and pass. Not only is it an incomplete pass and no first down...it also stops the clock. I simply don't get it.

They 9-10 guys at the LOS. I think it was the right call, just poorly executed and should have been caught.
