I highly doubt that. If Bo was the DC the defense wouldn't be this bad. there were too many times that defense was crap.

Unforunately i agree ez. Bo IS the DC. The problem is he hasnt had the joes to run his scheme, but no excuse, if you're a defensive guru you need to change the scheme to fit the joes. I like Bo and think he can be great. The problem with him is hes too damn stubborn to get out of his own way and check his ego. He will get the guys he needs eventually for the scheme he wants, but i hope he can show how great he is by scheming for the players he has until then. He could learn alot in the next couple years if he does.

So when Carl Pelini was the DC and it was good it was still Bo? so basically you tell me any DC he hires Bo is still the DC?

I have nothing to add, I just don't value any opinion you have because it is rather far off base and lacks perspective. Just wanted to take the time to say that.

Now you're getting it. Watch a game. When we are on defense its obvious you can see Bo calling the plays. Carl had a little more input but Bo was calling it. Papuchis has a little input mostly leading up to the game breaking down tape and scheming. Gameday he basically just signals in calls during game. He promoted him early b/c he has great upside, is still young and wants to learn, and is a great recruiter. I admit it was probably a premature promotion and Bo could be better if he brought in an experienced DC that fould challenge him and make him see things differently. He definitely has to let his ego go a little.
