Huskerboard vs Hedley

Hedley, I have never seen aspeedlin go off on someone on this board like he has you. Seems like a nice dude and next on my list of people I want to drink with. Congrats on being such an idiot that someone like him even calls you out.

He just rubs me the wrong way man, I have gotten along with most of the people on this board. Especially you, GSG, Paulie, EZ, jsneb, and some others. But, people like him just drive me up the f'ing wall. And we do need to get drunk together sometime, you are correct.

Guys, it's not a big deal...

Hedley is the "know it all" we all went to high school with, who if the teacher came to a sudden stop, they'd have to surgically remove his head from their a$$, and you'd wish he'd get mauled by panda with syphilis...

He's really annoying, but harmless...

While you are absolutely right, they do a remarkably admirable job at presenting things fairly and without bias. They have tough questions for/against all the major religions, for example, and include Christianity in that.

They try to show proof for Jesus. That site is not unbiased at all. That is the same site that I discussed just a few posts ago that tries to use these non-biblical sources that don't add up. Obviously we all will agree or disagree on this topic but that site is not unbiased.

I don't have the patience or time to commit to going back and forth on any of these points, nor am I claiming that they are in fact entirely objective (as Knapp said, it's a Christian site and ministry), but in my personal opinion, you've a propensity for shallow, elementary positions and arguments on the things you believe, not just in regards to Christianity but in general. All that is to say, agree to disagree.

Why not discuss all of the non biblical sources your site mentioned? I did that and no one replied, everything I stated was factual. I know you feel that I have an "elementary" understanding of this and that etc. But perhaps we are not on the same wavelength. Maybe you aren't picking up what I'm laying down? Maybe you don't smell what I'm stinkin?

We are on opposite sides of many subjects and topics. I could just as easily chuckle at you for believing the bible etc. but I do not. It if your choice if you believe or not. No one has the right nor power to take what one believes in from them.

No one KNOWS if there is an afterlife. You may believe their is one you may not. Neither really matters. However I enjoy the topic and my posts in this topic in regards to yours are far from "elementary"
