I am a Duke fan. After moving out of Nebraska, it became harder to follow the Huskers and Jays. I refused to follow the Jayhawks. I was 9 or 10 and my favorite player, who I got to see on TV a lot, was Steve Wojceichowski. That was one thing that helped perpetuate my interest, they are always on TV and I could follow them closely all year. I was small, slow, white and played basketball, and Wojo was my hero! LOL. So I've been a Duke fan for 16-17 years.

I understand many people "hate" Duke, probably more than any other college basketball team. Why? What is it about them? I am really interested in knowing. The "hate" doesn't bother me at all, I'm not trying to argue, just understand.

And if I hate to vote as not a Duke fan, JJ Redick and "Psycho Ty" Hansborough would have met in the Hate Finals.

I hate them because I have a few buddies who love Duke basketball, and can't seem to stop talking about how great they are whenever the chance comes up. Plus ESPN, d!(k Vitale, and all the other CBB talking heads cannot seem to get enough of Coach K's weiner. You're my boy Q, but I just cant stand Duke.

I do agree Vitale gets a little annoying talking about them, even for my tastes. He pumps all of the bloodline programs: KU, UK, UCLA, UNC.

I actually am growing tired of Bilas. I think he goes out of his way to try to be unbiased and sounds like an idiot most of the time. Also, his hate spree for the NCAA is getting long-winded. We get it.

I don't understand how anyone can hate Coach K, even though there aren't many who do. Seems like he is one of the few that does it the right way. When you have Kobe and LeBron saying they would have played for you, that is a pretty good stamp of approval. Now Coach Cal, don't get me started.

I've heard white people say they hate Duke because they have too many white guys on their team :blink:

That's not a joke either. It's like some people believe that only black guys can play basketball.

Coach Cal is a scumbag, maybe the skeeziest coach on the face of the Earth. I actually don't have a problem with Bilas, Gottlieb on the other hand is a grade A douche bag. He tries to be funny, and original while calling a game and he just comes off as a pompous tool.

 
Im talking to this girl that i met (not in person) and ive been texting her a bit but I hate how she will leave these short a$$ responses and not keep the conversation flowing, making me assume she isn't interested, but then will always send a "hope you had a great day, and have a goodnight! :) " THE f#*k. If you don't want to keep talking then don't keep using exclamation points and smiley faces because it's leading me on!!!

Deciphering texts at the beginning of a relationship is the worst.

Just think, maybe she is on some Tiffany & Co. forum hating on your flirting, or lack thereof ...
