Thank god I'm single now, and can enjoy my life without having to do stupid sh#t like that.

I live 5 hours from my girl. This is my dance, too. It is glorious. I play golf every night after work. No stupid sh#t to do with her. I talk to her on phone while playing childish video games. Hooray for long-distance relationships! No, I'm not getting Kekua'd.

I was just about to ask that haha. I do miss the consistent sex of having a gf but I would much rather chance randoms now than have to deal with dumb stuff like that.

For now, its not bad at all. I go to her once a month, she comes here once a month. So every two weeks for 3-4 days. It's like conjugal visits lol. She also has PRIME Husker tailgate and seats, so that is nice. It is nice being able to do whatever the hell I want. I practice and play a lot of golf, some chicks can't dig that.

my wife and i are having a coed baby shower. i was opposed, but the aunt-in-law insisted as it will be equal parts family gathering and baby shower. my wife liked the idea because otherwise it would just be her and my large extended family. she did not want to be there alone, i did not want to be there at all, now everyone has to go. i think it will also be a cookout, so i plan on drinking.

She couldn't find the $35 one that matched my golf bag so she got me a wal mart special. Plain black and cheaply made. No tilt option and one of the springs was poking through the umbrella. The one I wanted was made by Taylor made and rust resistant. Matched my golf bag and had the tilt option.

Anytime there are kids b'day parties, baby showers, dance recitals, crap like that, she asks me not to burn the house down as she's heading out the door, which means i'm ordering pizza or grilling and having beers with the house all to myself which is a glorious thing...

Before we got married, her cousin was having her wedding reception at 3pm, the Friday after thanksgiving. I told the wife that the Huskers were going to be playing the 'Buffs, and she said, "that's fine, just get here once the game's over"...

I was supposed to go to one of those a few months back. One of my kids got "sick" so I volunteered to stay back with him. Luckily I did because the shower lasted almost 5 HOURS!!!!

Well if it is any consolation, my wife and several other women complained about how long it lasted. I have a feeling that this one was the exception to the rule. Good luck either way.
