Did anyone see anything wrong with Tiger's most recent Nike ad after the last win:

Some people are making a big deal out of that ad. It's about golf, it's about sports in general. It is not about his personal life, as some would like you to believe.

 
Ask Lance Armstrong if winning takes care of everything. Ask Pete Rose. Ask Joe Paterno's family. If winning took care of everything, why is the winning prison softball team still in prison?

Airtight logic from sports journalism's finest.

I don't buy Nike's explanation of the ad, though. If "everything" means only success on the golf course and his ascension back to no. 1, then the copy is pointless. Obviously winning tour events leads to success in golf. That is success in golf. Nike went long on Woods when his other sponsors dumped him and now it's time to start recouping that investment with some free publicity.

It was fun watching him flounder for a while. We've got our pound of flesh. Elin's got a billionaire boyfriend. I'm looking forward to seeing whether Tiger can get to 19.

Tiger looked great today.

I would love to finally see a Tiger-Rory showdown on Sunday. Maybe Phil a few groups ahead throwing up a 65. A guy can dream.

 
No TV coverage yet besides Live at the Players on TGC, but Tiger is 2 under through 7. Currently T-2 I think.

He's heading to 17 now...

 
Sergio in the lead with Tiger one back.

It will surprise me if Sergio can keep it up, especially if he ends up playing with Tiger tomorrow.
