The Village of the "Banned"

Got my first warning today for telling "Someone" to shut up. Seriously? Come on, I've said way worse than that.

 
My first warning came somewhere in my first 10 posts. Somebody wrote that a player committing and then decommitting and committing to another school was as they put it, "African-American knocking". I tore up their post and called them an idiot. I can't remember who the poster was or who warned me but I said it would have been worth it.

10 posts? Ha ha! That might be a world record. Starting like that it's amazing you made it to 1,000+ posts. :lol:

Just saw this - I posted in here then never come back. Don't spend too much time in the shed - just saw it get bumped so figured I'd respond (6 months late). Here was the response I got from one of the members. Respectful and understandable....though I think they are in for a wild ride with these daughters :)

Just wanted to drop you a quick note. I know you’re pissed about having your avatar censored, and I honestly don’t blame you. No one wants to be censored.

I probably played a bit of a role in that by stating in a couple of threads that I was getting tired of blocking people whose opinions I value because of what was in their sig/avatar. FWIW, I never asked anyone to do anything about it. I just blocked your username, and then viewed your posts when we had laid our girls down.

Not that it’s your problem, or that you even give a sh#t, but I figured I might owe you an explanation as to why I publicly mentioned sigs/avatars, and really, was talking about you and Blaze. (As I stated, two people whose opinions I respect.)

I don’t like to give my daughters the impression that their value is defined by their physical bodies. I will intently and specifically reinforce that message to them. My daughters are always running around when I’m on the computer, and I’m just not a huge fan of them seeing straight up grinding vag on the screen. But you know, I’d be pissed if the shoe was on the other foot. Really, I imposed upon your freedom of expression. I know that, and I sincerely do apologize for it. I stand by the principals I’ve adopted as the father of two girls, but that doesn’t mean I’m in the right and you’re in the wrong.

I hope there are no hard feelings man. I truly do apologize for any part I may have played in f'ing up your avatar, even if I’m kind of glad that I now get to read your insight without having to look over my shoulder and scroll up or down real quick whenever I hear little feet scampering around. Anyway, take it easy.
