I see it trending the opposite way. I see people getting married later and later in life, or not married at all. Marriage is becoming less the norm every generation, and people are cool with it.I hate that in today's soceity it seems as though it's okay to just settle for someone.
Maybe it's just because I see guys I grew up with jumping in to marriage right now, and I've seen alot of girls I know jumping in to a marriage because they may ahve found mister right. But then you see that they've been dating less than a year.I see it trending the opposite way. I see people getting married later and later in life, or not married at all. There used to be pressure on people, men or women, to get married, settle down, have kids, all that stuff. Today nobody really cares except your mom.![]()

One of my friends that's a girl told me that the only reason women get pregnant between 18-21ish is to trap men that they are obsessed with. As much as I hope this isn't the case, I do know some very crashy broads.Maybe it's just because I see guys I grew up with jumping in to marriage right now, and I've seen alot of girls I know jumping in to a marriage because they may ahve found mister right. Now, I will admit that some of those marriages are because a kid was involved and that makes sense.

Me and a couple classmates crunched the numbers in regards to this topic and our class. It's coming up on our 20 yr reunion so it was a where are they now type of conversation. I got married when I was 30, my best man made everyone sing happy bday at the dinner. My wife was 24 at the time and we've been mostly happy ever since. Out of the 25 classmates that got married, 14 are still. Only one of them got married at an older age than me. Of the 16 girls that got married 14 of them married before 25. Of those 16 girls, 9 are still married. Of the 25 married classmates 11 had babies before marriage. Of those 11, 5 are divorced. Our reunion is gonna be at my house and its gonna be interesting. One of my good friends loves to know everyone's business and ironically has been divorced 2 times and has 4 kids with 3 different guys. Thank god I don't have any girls.Maybe it's just because I see guys I grew up with jumping in to marriage right now, and I've seen alot of girls I know jumping in to a marriage because they may ahve found mister right. This is true due to the expansion of choice, mainly for women. Now, thanks to smartphones and other devices, they have men, literally, at their beck and call at all times. This produces an inflated perception of self-worth. Why must she settle for one man when she can ride the cok carousel with the "hottest" and most "sucessful" men? Flash forward to late 20s, early 30s when looks start to fade and she stops receiving many +1s or "likes" on her Instagram and Facebook photos. This is when she decides that she must get married. Why waste all that time with one guy during the years of youthful beauty?I see it trending the opposite way. I see people getting married later and later in life, or not married at all. Marriage is becoming less the norm every generation, and people are cool with it.I hate that in today's soceity it seems as though it's okay to just settle for someone.
