Early Kickoff = GOOD!

I think the 11AM kickoff is great for NU! Remember the last 2 times we were the ABC National game at 11AM? CU in '94 (actually was a 10:30AM kick) and OU in '01 were both early starts and BIG Husker wins.

Sure it doesn't lend itself to getting "well oiled" for the game (Bloody Mary's and Mimosa's for breakfast anyone? :cheers ) But it sure captures the GameDay excitement! Get up, get to the game, and Yell your a$$ off - no waiting around all day for kickoff.

Anyway, just wanted to remind everyone that the early kick is probably good for us. Also keep in mind that the OU vs Texas games were 11AM kickoffs back in '00 - '04 when OU was owning the 'Horns. Maybe we are catching things just right here!

 
Whatever it takes to get an edge. The last couple weekends NU has snapped a couple road streaks. This weekend there is a home streak against Texas they need to snap. Nebraska has not beat Texas in Lincoln since about 1933!! :restore

 
It is time for Nebraska to make a statement. We had our rough years in transition (and the program is still in transition) but putting a W up against Texas will really put us back on the map, especially recruiting wise. We have the athletes to beat them all we need know is a sound gameplan

I dont care what time the game is. I just love to watch the Huskers on saturdays. I believe we can beat them, its been a season of upsets and I would love to stick it up Mark May and Lou Holtz's a$$! I hate those guys :madash .
