i was waiting for a first take segment on if tebow could have been the difference for the spurs in the fourth.

I was mostly being sarcastic but I do hate that, and the high school mentality that comes with it.

Other than usually being in bum f#*k Egypt and not having a hell of a lot for entertainment, they're not too bad.

I kind of assumed you were, and most people that don't like small towns use that as the main reason why. But I guess I can deal a little bit with the gossip and nosy people if it means that people actually care to get to know you and be courteous to each other.

Not quite. The reason why I hate small towns is because your actions get noticed too quickly i.e. you hook up with, like, 6 or 7 girls and the whole town knows what the deal is.

Ran into a similar situation at the Kansas Star Casino just south of Wichita a couple weeks ago. The shoe turned and we started taking lots of bad beats. You know how it goes- the dealer has a 4-5-6 up, we're all sitting on 19-20, and then the dealer draws out a 4 or 5 card 21, crap like that. Only it happened a bunch in a row. And the dealer was being a douche saying things like "don't gamble if you can't take loosing" and sh#t like that. Well, the first guy to bail on the table says after about the 5th one of those bad beats "are you kidding me?" and gets up and leaves. Pretty normal reaction in my book. Well, the dealer just goes off on him; "hey a-hole, I just flip the cards" and stuff like that. He was acting all put out like the guy had personally attacked him or something. I just picked up my chips and told him loud enough that the pit boss would hear "you don't have to be such a d!(k when people are loosing". He reminded me of the dealer in Vegas Vacation without the humor aspect. Usually they are pleasant people but this guy had a stick up his a$$.
