WR T.V. Williams

Just listened to his radio interview..VERY impressed..sounded like a very respectful and high character kid. Said Darlington has reached out to him and that he doesn't mind having another "slot receiver" committed, says they would be a good duo. I would LOVE to have this kid in our program.

 
I am not suprised that UK is in this one. Their OC, RB, and WR coaches are all from Texas Tech, and they play in the SEC, which means they will be playing teams like A&M, Arkansas, and LSU that are in or close to Texas so family could drive to the games. In fact, I am surprised they are not recruiting in Texas better, right now they have a pair of JUCO recruits but not top HS prospects.

 
A couple of crystal ball predictions for :bigredn: lately. Including a national analyst that's 32/38 in his predictions. It's 80/20 for UK right now because so many insiders over there are saying he's a silent to UK. I think they are wrong and would love to take TV since we did the scouting on him and Marrow just stole the info.

I don't think VM is in on TV's recruiting. Three of the UK offensive coaches come from Texas (including the WR coach).

True. Nebraska's offer was back in February. The Nebraska coaches could have been scouting TV months before that, and VM could have become aware of TV before he left. However, UK offered at the start of March, so if this was VM's doing, they must have offered without much evaluation.

Either way, tired of VM.

Ya if you look at it, ALOT of offers came out right after us like that. There's a reason we have as many [ Kentucky commit] tags as NU ones on this board, and we seem to be chasing after the same recruits. Also why they took Jojo Kemp and couple other guys we had further down the board after we got the guys we wanted.

They had 2 guys that transferred from Pitt and are going to walk on, that for some reason, they are very excited about. It's funny guys on their forums are saying they don't need TV now because of these 2 that couldnt even hack it at Pitt. It's funny to read over there, they think they are going to dominate the SEC in 2014 lulz

Hahaha...I was going to go into a long rant. But, really this is just wishful thinking from the UK fanbase (which is understandable). They see a new coaching staff and some decent recruiting last and this year. Their play on the field however will be the proof (and a sour reallity check).

Either way, if they don't want TV, the Huskers will be happy to take him.

 
Guess TV wants to make his commitment over the summer because he will be a December graduate, so whoever he commits to will get him as an early enrollment. He said he wants to go to school for business or engineering, and by enrolling early (along with summer courses), he will be able to be on scholarship for his first year of graduate school. This kid really has his head on his shoulders (and a great support system) if he is thinking so far down the line in his education.

Both Luke Gifford and Trai Mosley are recruiting TV Williams to Nebraska. It's pretty cool to watch it. TV appears to be a VERY solid kid with his head on straight. He put on there today that he works trains like a one star to play like a five star. Clean mouthed kid. From a good family. Quoting Bible versus on his page.
