Anyone else playing/played this? I recently bought a PS3 just to play this (and a few others) and I'm about 80% through. So far, this is arguably one of the best games I've played in about a decade. The voice acting and animation is top notch, and the storytelling is great.

 
Yes I am, and it's pretty incredible so far. Well since I know you're past me, I'm stuck at a section. Well not really stuck, but I've tried for a half hour and then shut it off because it pissed me off. I'm about 5 hours in, and it the part where the subway station is flooded and he swims under subway and then there is a random piece of wood that can be dragged. But if its not in the right place and I push triangle he jumps on it and falls right back off. Where do I need to drag that to, it's tough because its already dark down there even with the flashlight and I feel like I'm going in circles but can't find where to go.

Take it over to Ellie. She'll jump on, and take her to the wall. You'll use this mechanic a few more times in the game.

 
What's the premise of this game? I've seen the commercials and I get that it's supposed to be like some end of the world scenario, but are there zombies or something?

The player takes control of Joel (voiced and motion captured by Troy Baker), who is trekking across a post-apocalyptic United States in 2033, in order to escort the young Ellie (voiced and motion captured by Ashley Johnson) to a friendly resistance group, the Fireflies. The player defends the characters against zombie-like creatures infected with the Cordyceps fungus, as well as hostile humans such as bandits and cannibals

If you liked the Uncharted games than more than likely you'll like Last of Us. Naughty Dog created both these titles.
