Best Year in Nebraska History?

I am young so I haven't been following recruiting for very long, but I was wondering how many 4 or 5 star players we are looking at producing next year. I was also wanting to know If this would be the best year in Nebraska's history as far as producing stars that colleges all over the country are trying to get. If not can you tell me about what year and who all was in that class?

well, recruiting services didnt really expand to the prominent role they have now which allows them to be relatively accurate until the late 90's really, so there arent very many classes to compare them against... For instance, in retrospect, Ahman Green, who came in as a freshman and played very well for a national championship contending team, may very well have been a five star recruit nowadays, but who knows what he was listed as back then...

The class of 1985 was pretty solid. Landed Neil Smith, Broderick Thomas and Steve Taylor amongst other solid players. That said, I think this class of 07 will end up being the most solid, top to bottom, of Callahan's years here.
