This is what I was worrying about. Definitely understandable (assuming his cancelation has to do with events transpiring in CO). Still, really sucks.

I'm a little (pleasantly) surprised that we're in that list and Oregon isn't. Would be huge to get him here for game day.

Terrific athlete. I see a star on either side of the ball but I wish this guy knew the type of potential he has at linebacker. Looks like a future all american at that position to me.

Won't play anywhere where he can't play RB. He's said it. The offer is for RB.

Yeah. I know he is being recruited for RB, but with (1) our need for natural talent and speed at LB, (2) Ballage's skills at LB, and (3) our lack of need at RB, I would prefer to see him at LB. Also, we have been recruiting offensive position well this year but have not really started on the defense. Ballage would be a great addition to that side of the ball.

Regardless, I keep thinking, just get him committed, then with his skills and the need of the team, he will find a good home.
