Kind of thinking this could be an "NFL preseason injury." No reason to put him through drills he could get injured on. With his experience he can gel in short period of time.

Experience? If by experience you mean "most experienced" then yeah...but he had what, 40 snaps as a sophomore with 0 reception, maybe 90 snaps as a junior with 6 catches. The guy is probably one of our 'least' experienced offensive players. And while he has NFL potential - it's this season that will cement that, not his last 2 playing 3rd string.
