With South Carolina off this list, I am feeling good about our chances.

Maybe SC isn't recruiting him quite as hard, but we know better than anyone how important depth is important in DT/DE. I don't think they would turn him away. If he wants to go there, they'll find room.

SCar also appears to be high on the list of local four-star DT prospect Poona Ford. He's set to announce his decision on August 6th. If they get another DT commit, I would think Newell would be looking elsewhere. Here's hoping.

Good article - except they really give a bit more on SC and Kansas (which makes sense with it being KS reporting). Everybody on this board is saying we have nothing to worry about, hope that's right!

Now there's a run of predictions on the Crystal Ball that say Poona is going the Louisville route so perhaps his decision is already made.
