Sam Burtch (Soph WR)

Today, Jamal Turner said the 4th primary receiver was most likely Sam Burtch. Many might now know who Sam is, but Jamal said he was one of the best blocking wide receivers on the team.

A little from Sam's bio:

• Walk on from Murdock Nebraska (Elmwood-Murdock High School)
  
• No recorded scholarships offered as a recuit in 2010
  
• 2012 Academic All-Big Ten
  
• Nebraska Scholar Athlete Honor Roll
  
• Played in 4 games last year
  
• Sophomore (Redshirted in 2011)
  

I'm excited to see more young guys, especially walk ones hit the field. Keep an eye out for Sam on Saturday!
