Nebraska received one point in the Coaches' Poll

B1G bloggers thought it was a joke, so there is that. you can say who cares, but i am getting a little tired of our program being a laughing stock in the B1G. luckily we are not relevant enough to be a national laughing stock.

but a team that gets worse as the season goes on (even with injuries), whose losses become more frequent, and who loses their last game, at home, and in embarrassing fashion is generally not deserving of a top 25 vote.

No no, sker. It's literally everybody else who's wrong.

47% of this board doesn't think Nebraska is a joke and Pelini is reaching, and that's the real bellweather.
Between 62 coaches, 60 AP voters, 105 Harris voters, and 45 well-known computer ranking systems, that's 252 different rankings. One out of 252 felt we were in the top 25. The computers ranked us #42 on average.

I just don't see what the point in drawing that attention to yourself is. Unless he gets a $5000 bonus or something for appearing in the "Others receiving votes" section, it just draws unnecessary negative attention to himself and is a stark example of blatant bias.

Of course, saying anything negative in Huskerland at this point draws intense reactions. The battle lines are drawn in a very concise fashion. You're either with us or against us. Criticize Bo's sock collection and your name is added to the Underworld roster.
