Military Bowl results:

Bye Bye Big XII and GM_Tood were the closest to the 11 point Marshall win and NUance and knapplc join them in picking up 8 points in the first double point game. The doubled points make quite a difference in their first appearance as the points ranged all the way down to minus-4.

NUance jumps back to a nice lead with those collecting 6 or 8 points all made significant jumps.

Double points are available again in the first official B1G action of bowl season although Minnesota is behind early. Minnesota is also the first sweep of the predictions as no one had much faith in the Orange.

/edit: Perhaps I spoke too fast. Minny takes the lead 17-14 with 12 minutes left. Another Gopher score and I'm sitting pretty.

Texas Bowl results:

Way to finish strong, Minny. Since we all picked the Gophers, the four who still managed to get two points out of the deal should feel fortunate. Minus-4 was pretty common.

Not a lot of shuffling in the overall standings. NUance can still smack talk - at least for a few more hours.

 
Fight Hunger Bowl results:

TAKODA grabs the only 5 point score as BYU forgets to come back out of the locker room dugout after halftime.

NUance continues to lead as a small pack of five has broken away from the Peleton as we are roughly one third done with bowl season.

 
Come on guys, suck it up, somebody needs to dislodge NUance from first place. This incessant trash talking must be put to bed. It's like 90's Miami up in here and NUance is Warren Sapp taunting the good doctor.

 
Apparently every pic of Sapp kneeling on the ground and gasping for air during the 1995 Orange Bowl has been removed from the internet - or at least Google doesn't want to let me find it.

 
Pinstripe Bowl results:

Not many combinations are farther down my list that Notre Dame winning a game in Yankee Stadium, but I digress.

A late ND FG shifted some points around. C N Red and StPaulHusker were the closest but were joined by NebraskaHarry, Redmusky, TAKODA, Bye Bye Big XII, HuskerShark, Chaddyboxer, knapplc, Mavric and NUance in collecting the maximum 10 points. Everyone picked Notre Dame so everyone's a winner!

10 of the top 11 got 10 points and JJHusker1 got 8 so there weren't many changes in the standings.

 
The highest pick for the Belk Bowl was UNC by 10. At this rate we might not have any positive points for this game - though there could be a couple negatives....

 
Just looking down through the picks, it's not unlikely that the Donkey Pool will be decided by the Nebraska v. Georgia game. Wouldn't THAT be awesome? (So long as NU wins, that is. LOL)
