He'll say that until the ink is dried. You don't tell recruits that you're negotiating for a new job. Sark and Petersen told their recruits they were still recruiting for Washington and Boise, respectively.

Shanahan out in Washington.

Schiano out in Tampa, as well as their GM.

Frazier out in Minnesota.

Chudzinski out in Cleveland.

Rex Ryan is staying.

Jason Garrett likely to stay.

 
god the browns are dumb. chudzinski is one of, hell might be THE ONLY coach in the NFL who actually makes correct 4th down decisions and has reasonably good clock/game management. And he got a lot out of that team given they have the worst QB situation in the league, no running back, and a no-name defense. But alas, management is always results-oriented and 4 wins doesn't cut it I guess...still, my god, one year and gone? That organization is so screwed.
