Quarterback:

1) Leader - A take charge kind of guy. He starts a majority of the threads here on the board, being a topic starter.

2) Cannon Arm – The QB has a blast visiting HuskerBoard daily. He has an powerful way with posts (shooting at lot of posts at us daily).

3) Offensive Minded - He makes the offense offensive. He may correct you to his way of thinking. Some of his remarks may offend you but he makes you dish it out like he dished on you.

4) Great Size - The ideal "pocket passer" QB should have great size - 6'2" to 6' 5". This gives them the ability to see over the line and take big hits from defenders. Therefore, this poster should have a good volume of posts. We're not looking for ones that say "I agree" or "That's funny" though... These posts should all have good quality and stand above all other "defenders."

5) Field Vision - He has to see what the defense is giving him and make the best of the situation. That means our QB reads pretty much all of the posts and gives what he feels to be the best answer/comment to the question - and many times it is the most noteworthy comment of the thread!

6) Scrambling Ability - The QB should be able to "scramble when flushed out of the pocket" by an odd question. This poster can quickly answer the question posed from his own knowledge of Husker football or experience.

What is the most lopsided vote in the history of the Starting Lineup? This has to be close. Congrats to PaulCrewe

I'd have to go back through the other threads to find out. I kept track of the votes for the first time last year, and the largest margin of victory was Enhance over Bye Bye Big XII. Both were elected as LBs (along with Minnesota_Husker) but Enhance had 13 more votes than BBBXII (27-14).

Last year Crewe won Offensive Coordinator over EZ-E by one vote, with 52 total votes cast. The most votes cast last year for a single-position vote (as in, not for RB, for which you vote twice, or WR, for which you vote three times) was 56, for the Head Coach position (which EZ won).

Crewe having about 60% of the vote is probably a record. Most votes are pretty close.

The disparity of votes in this poll compared to others has been noticed, not to mention the date/time of the unusual surge in votes. I've resisted making all votes public for obvious reasons. I would hate to have to change that policy.

For some reason I keep forgetting about the vote. I've already missed out on nominating myself for several categories.

Also- is it unusual that a person gets nominated and seconded but garners neither of those two votes. Seems ridiculous to nominate someone you don't plan to vote for. Reason why I have not nominated or seconded anyone because usually the person I would nominate and vote for has already been spoken for.

Wait... who's EZ? As our head coach, I'm sure he contributes/d a lot... Where'd he go?
