I'm so sick of your attitude. You obviously do not like Nebraska and you hate Bo Pelini.

That's fine, that's your opinion.

But I'm making a rule for you:

If/when the Cornhuskers ever win any type of championship or have an excellent season

You are NOT allowed to cheer for them, or feel good about it, or claim some allegiance.

You are to be on the outside looking in, with all of your critism standing right next to you.

Why don't you take a break from the board for awhile and examine why you even spend your time here?

I have yet to read an optimistic post from him this offseason. I get hes jaded and all, guessing he was a Peli i supporter in the beggining. It takes a hell of a lot less effort to just smile and look forward to fall than it does to dwell on all the negatives of the past six years.

Besides, I think the positives outweigh the negatives by alot.

everyone wants pelini to win, some of us just do not think he will. all of us "negativers" want to be proven wrong more than anything.

I feel like that is only true half the time. I really think there are people here who would rather see us go 5-7 just so Bo gets fired. Sacrifice to the greater good mentality.

How much longer do you give Bo? If you say 2-3 more years that is a long time. putting him at 9-10 years and specially if 9 wins and bowl wins are all he has to show for it.

i do not think that is true. i think the real problem is more people not caring if we go 5-7. we were incredibly close to two more losses, michigan was our biggest win, and our 4 losses were not close. a 5-7 season is not out of the realm of possibility, and some people do not pretend that it is not.

Its not that black and white. You cant account for (insert "excuse" here) year in and year out. If he goes 9-4 again this year I wouldnt immidiately fire him. Id want to know why that happened.

If we went 5-7 Id be aces with a regime change. The we were close to more losses argument is just as tired as the we were close to more wins argument.

well i wouldn't fire him either if he went 9-4 but he certainly is or would be on the hot seat and start a serious coaching search. I'd want to know why he can field any team and get the same record year after year.

how so?

we won close games and the games we lost were not close. we were much closer to 5-7 than 11-1.
Hardly. We werent out of the Iowa or Michigan State games until the closing minutes. Take away a couole turnovers and realistically we couldve won either one or both. I attended both in person, doesnt make me an expert but I saw what I saw and the final score was more reflective of a team that was in it to win it but lost the ball at crucial times.
