You know the guy who runs the music at Pinnacle Bank Arena? He's @chrispank, and he'll now be handling the music for football this season.

Kevin Kugler@kevinkugler Mar 10

@RobinWashut @chrispank I'm excited that he told people that Sirius is done as the tunnel walk music. #cuemikeybo

@kevinkugler @RobinWashut @chrispank If that's true I will be attending the season opener just to see the tunnel walk.

Chris Pankonin@chrispank Mar 10

@_MISTERSMITH Its true, but I don't control the music for the Tunnel Walk (thats a video). But it should be good anyway!

It seems Sirius is done as Tunnel Walk music, which makes this offseason more important to talk about tunnel walk music than any other offseason in school history!!!

The athletic department stole HuskerAddict's field and court designs for Memorial and Pinnacle because they were awesome - so maybe they will steal our tunell walk music if we come up with something awesome.

So like, what do you think it should be? My hope is that we can actually have a high-quality tunnel walk music thread, if that's possible. As in, keep in mind that this is will be the most important song of the most important event of the week in a very conservative state and towards a demographic that includes a lot of old people, and is produced by a university that is in an athletic conference and both have rules and standards of apprioriateness and expectations of big-time production and etc.

I'll start things off I know that this has been thrown around quite a number of times as an option and I like it. One of my favorite bands has used this song as an intro to their live concert sets for years and it works really well in that environment, but I think if we were to use it we would want to mix or remix it with something that's a bit more high energy.
