2014 Alternate Unis?

The issue I had with the '12 ones were the little numbers in the upper left of the jersey. Glad the NCAA made it mandatory for the numbers to be readable.

Uh.... are you talking about this?According to ESPN's Uni Watch, Paul Lukas says that Illinois will be wearing all-orange uniforms for their matchup with us.
All red vs. all orange?

• Nebraska has a painfully red alternate uni, which will be worn on Sept. 27 against Illinois. (If there's any justice, the Illini will wear solid orange, just to see how many retinas can be fried by one football game.) As you can see, the jersey includes a patch marking the 125th season of Nebraska football.

The 2 teams have to petition the NCAA to wear a "Color" vs. "Color" game. UCLA and USC have been able to do this the past 2 years, as long as the 2 jersey colors were enough of a contrast.
There is NO WAY the NCAA would allow Illinois to wear Orange while NU is in Red. I read Uni-Watch regularly, I a lot of Paul Lukas comments about is in a joking manner.
