The "Outrageously Idiotic Past the Point of Comprehension" Statements Thread

And I'm convinced my dry rapier wit is lost on this platform.

A person with whom you frequently disagree with - sharply, often - has said something that you believe violates rules. "Not being excellent" as the cool kids are fond of saying lately. You post that in a thread you know is being watched by the guy who bans everyone.

It would not be inconvenient to have the mods see that post, is the presumption.
Sometimes I just want to use his own words as evidence against himself.

-I don't want to be banned

-I don't want Qmany to be banned. I'd appreciate it if he would cool it with the personal attacks on me though.

-You could ban sd'sker and his apostrophe and I'd shed nary a single tear. Lousy apostrophists.

I remember the Callahan teams getting picked to pieces, even the two years that had lots of optimism.
He took a storied program, records that stood for over 30 years, and treated them like Jodi Foster on a pinball machine. His ignorant, egotistical a$$, thought he could come in and mold the program in his image, which he couldn't because he was horrible coach.

What he did to my Raiders should have raised multiple flags. He took a championship contender, and made a complete mockery of it.
This was more a point towards that, good or bad opinions, those teams were talked about at great length, whereas I feel any thread that's negative towards the staff quickly turns into, well, this

There seems to be a perception, that you despise Bo so much, that sometimes you'd rather have Callahan back. I don't know if there is any credence to this, but thats just what it appears sometimes. By no means am I trying to put words in your mouth.

The difference between Bo and Callahan is apparent. Callahan wanted to change this offense, and remake this program in his image, whereas Bo seemed to want to embrace tradition, and thats what the fanbase wanted and in my estimation, needed.

There's only one problem with this. Just about every f'ing thread this off-season devolved into negative bitching about the program or players past and present. Surely you can see how that is annoying.

they were the dumbest team in america.
Under Chucky, they were a hair away from winning a SB, but with idiot Bill at the helm....
i know. that always cracked me up, though. that he would say that about his own team. he did get them to the super bowl, somehow.

I don't want Bill Callahan back.

And the two share differences and similarities, which I'm not rehashing here. And I think a lot of what tradition embracing Bo did do came at the request/edict of his boss.

Either way. I know you're not doing trying to do that. It is after all, just a message board and it's a little silly to get really mad over anything.
