[SIZE=20pt]1-(8-oz.)-Block Of Cream Cheese[/SIZE]

[SIZE=20pt]8-oz. Shredded Colby Jack Cheese[/SIZE]

[SIZE=20pt]2-4 T. Hot Sauce[/SIZE]

[SIZE=20pt]10-12 Slices Lean Peppered Bacon[/SIZE]

[SIZE=20pt]1 Tsp. Black Pepper[/SIZE]

[SIZE=20pt]10-12 Jalapeno Peppers[/SIZE]

[SIZE=20pt]20-24 Toothpicks[/SIZE]

[SIZE=20pt]Put on latex gloves and cut the peppers in half. Use a teaspoon measure to scoop out the seeds and some of the inner white membrane. Mix the cream cheese, shredded cheese and hot sauce together. Stuff the peppers with the cheese mix and wrap with a half slice of bacon. Secure with a toothpick. Smoke for about 1-1.5 hours at 250 degrees. [/SIZE]

Tried to make these last night and had a little bit of a smoker catastrophe. They looked delicious . . . but they tasted like burning electrical components. Probably because part of the smoker was on fire. Haha.

I'll be trying them again.

 
Cure for that problem is using charcoal.
