Troublesome Two

So this guy joins the board this morning and immediately posts the below thread in our Husker football forum. I locked the thread and told them they have to ask the board for permission because this is starting to get carried away a little with people posting all their own "youtube mixes" on the board hoping to become famous. I don't think he much cared for that, but I don't care. If it was someone who's been a member for awhile that's one thing. To just join the board and post 1 thing and it's this is another. It can be construed he's a spammer with that 1 post without even trying to engage into the community. AR he may send you a request, I don't know..........

Agree that this is spam. We don't allow everyone with a blog to put links to their blog posts here, either. If we did, the Football forum would be five pages deep in "Read My Blog" posts every week.

This is no different. We allow this, instead of "Read My Blog" it's "Watch My YouTube Channel." Five pages of it.

You did the right thing.

I went ahead and moved it to the Junkyard. No reason to give them free publicity.

Thanks for doing that Lance, he sent me a PM with a "really dude" "that's what a forum's for" type of answer. I'm crushed he's upset *sarcasm*

I think he's realized he's not going to get anywhere with that crap. He certainly hasn't contacted me to ask permission. Thanks, guys!
