You'd be surprised at what I know about Mr. Fluharty. Like the fact that his class syllabus contains this oddly hypocritical line: "I will not allow any individual to continually disrupt the learning process or create a negative atmosphere for the rest of the class."

So, he's strict about how his students comport themselves in class, but that doesn't apply to him, here.

Thinking saladfingers may be another FLU sock. He joins with an IP from New Jersey and his first post is THIS. Now, how would he know walks lives in Jersey?

Lance, any info you have that ties it to FLU?

 
I wondered about that, too. FLU's people are from Allegheny/Pittsburgh, the other side of Pennsylvania, but he moved to Louisiana when he was 15 (1989-ish). I doubt FLU knows much about New Jersey.

Someone to keep an eye on, though. He isn't posting like a n00b.

BTW - FLU/Kid Nickels was banned and generally panned from TigerDroppings, too. He's about as well-respected there as he is here. Shocking, huh?

Banned Cream of the Crop - that's FLU. Not so sure about Rock n Huskers Roll. I'll leave him with spammer status for now. Post here if we get anything else to indicate it's FLU. Thanks!

 
When I put Cream of the Crop on Mod Preview, I wrote in the note to member section "Sock Puppet."


So the doofus creates another account this morning named "@Sock Puppet." I guess that's the final confirmation, as if we needed one.

When I banned Sock Puppet, in the note to member section, I wrote, "Hi Sean. Bye Sean." I can include more personal details the more he keeps doing this, from his class syllabus to his home address to his wife's parents' names to the day he got married, his birth weight, whatever. Maybe if he realizes we know exactly who he is, where he is, he'll chill out.

Unless we just want to let him keep going, because apparently it entertains the members. Either way.

New member @cbert joined this morning, set their account activity to Private, and posted a FLU-like thread about how NU/Bucky should go. It's in the Junkyard. If they PM someone asking where their thread went we can play dumb.

I'm guessing this is FLU, although the IP resolves to Denver this time.

 
Banned sock puppet. Take a look at RedLine - particarly the email address. Betting that's FLU as well. If cbert doesn't take any actions about his status in a day or two, we'll ban his account as well.

I'd say DON'T put in details. It has to be bugging him how you know. If you give always his "tells", he'll change and make it harder for us to be sue.
