What happens now? Will an announcement come this weekend?

I'm totally fine with Bo staying as long as we can at least get a new OC. Here is what I would prefer.

HC- Bo (If he stays)

OC- out of house (Frost also Oregon's QB coach)

DC- prefer someone new (Muchamp)

RB- Brown

WR- Fisher

OL- new coach (unsure, Dominic Riola only as he taught Suh how to not get rolled up)

DL- possibly pap demoted (Carl Pelini)

DB- Warren (Sanders)(Minter)
If we are going for broke by keeping Bo, get the band back together....New S&C coach for sure. Maybe Stanfords as they have really reduced injuries. Great article in Men's health on them.....

I really hope you guys realize I was being sarcastic. Firing Bo would be idiotic.
No, it would be the right decision for the program moving forward.
Nope. It will make us a joke, just like in 2003. And we'll get another sh**ty coach like Callahan. Live through 5-7 seasons, fire him, and get a coach like Bo that can take us to the promised land but because it takes longer than a few years we fire him after winning seasons. Then we get a sh**ty coach..... repeat ad infinitum.

You realize Callahan and Bo are pretty much the same guy at this point, right?

The problems are systemic, that means they start at the top and come down. And, No Pelini has already said no to changing his staff even at the expense of his job.

Pelini will be back next year. Eichorst isn't ready to rock that boat yet- not with another "9 win season" and the absence of an Iowa game nervous breakdown.

I think as Husker fans we have lost our confidence that the program is capable of hiring a good coach who take return us to elite status. The past decade stripped away our swagger.

I agree with Mo. People ignore the college football landscape now days. How is florida, nd, ut, miami, usc, penn state, Michigan, etc doing? Oh, but we can do better because why?

I'm not saying we don't have problems, but it's not easy and Bo does things right. He takes care of his players, gets them a real education, treats them fairly, and makes them into men. Would you rather be like fsu, oversign kids and kick out the nonperformers, or do other questionable things. I wouldn't, even if it means some losses.

Yes, those Wisconsin losses really sucked, but I still am strongly in the Bo camp. There are only a few coaches I think are better and our odds of getting them are slim to none.

I got to go and don't have time to spell out other points, but I figured someone else (besides Mo, who did a good job) should say why they support Bo.

How is that any better than right now?

Name one thing we have right now that we wouldn't have through one or two 5-7 seasons other than a handful of small feel good wins against Purdue and Illinois and Rutgers.

You seriously don't have a clue.

Yes let's fire Bo, bring in whatever coach that is willing to come to a program that will fire him for winning consistently, and lose most of our draft class in the process.

Sounds like a great idea to me.
Or we can keep doing the same damn thing we've been doing for the last 7 years and expect different results.

One of those options is literally the definition of insanity. I'll leave it to you to determine which.

No coordinators are going to come work for a coach on the hot seat. So a house cleaning leaving Bo in charge is idiocy.
There are plenty of guys who would like to move up to the level of Nebraska, regardless of the current situation...especially if they can be that guy "...who turned things around over at Nebraska".

Dude, the joke was WISCONSIN 59 NEBRASKA 24.

Be as supportive of Bo all you want, but when Melvin Gordon rips off 408 against Bo's defense on national TV two years after Wisconsin scored 70 in the CCG proves the dude cannot coach. That was end of it.
