So.....what are your expectations?

My immediate expectations are:

- A commitment to rebuilding the pipeline and blackshirt traditions.

- Hire best available coordinators and assitants.

- Hire dedicated QB coach.

- Strong and consistent effort in recruiting.

- Can I get a fullback?

Will re-evaluate in 5 years.

 
1. No humiliating blowouts.

2. Be competitive for four full quarters no matter what the final score.

3. Be .750 won-loss percentage with top 20 teams.

4. Be listed in the top 10 teams during the most of the season.

5. Have SI do another article listing the Huskers as a sports dynastacy again.

6. Have an offensive line that is offensive in nature again. Regain the Lineman U reputation.

7. Restore the Blackshirts aura on the national scene. Become a defensive team that expects to stop opponents on 3rd & short most of the time- especially on runs.

8. Have an offensive team that does not routinely kill drives with stupid penalties.

9. Have a defensive team that does not routinely help the opponents maintain their drives with stupid penalties.

10. Have special teams that proivde a field advantage routinely.

 
I just want the new head coach to keep things interesting, which means beating the teams you're supposed to beat and giving the teams you're not supposed to beat a run for their money. It sure would be nice to make it into November undefeated for a change.

Perfect. Honestly perfect.
We don't expect miracles. We expect competitiveness. We expect pride. We expect a plan and expect a vision towards building that plan. We expect answers when there are questions. 7 wins against sh#t teams is not unreasonable. Don't have to beat Wisconsin the first year, but it would be a damn great way to fire this thing off. We just want some good football, and a consistent team. Most folks understand bumps in the road.

I expect a CCG title or bust. The talent is there, the schedule is there, just get it done.

And what saunders said is basically what Bo did in his first 3 years. The last four years is where Bo & Co plateaued and cost him his job.

If the game is supposed to start at 1:00 P.M., I want it to start at 1:00 P.M.

Other than that, the coaches, players and administration can do whatever they want. If I don't like it or it is not entertaining, I can change the channel.
