There's been a few claims of Tressel being spotted in or around Lincoln yesterday.
My question....
With all the press coming out of Lincoln and Husker fanatics "stalkers" lurking around every corner with camera phones why no pictures?
No pictures, no autographs, nobody that had an actual conversation with the guy, no pictures of the plane, was nobody else on that plane? No airport staff talking about seeing him....etc.
A lot of different sources claim to have spotted sweater vest but I've currently seen zero physical evidence he was actually here.
I am pulling for it to be true but I'd love to see a lot more smoke right now.
It's like seal team 6 escorted him in and out of Lincoln or something.

I didn't see the local news...

problem is, he was on his way here before Bo knew he was being let go. While i don't believe the hype ( i want to, but past experiences have told me not to hold my breath about things like this), the Sock, Vegas odds, and sightings in Lincoln are very compelling.

Right but why would Warren do it unless he knew he was staying. If I had no job security I would tell them to pi$$ off if they asked me to go recruit. Warren being retained is the only plausible explanation.

probably both are correct. warren is a solid dude, never questioned his ability or dedication regarding Nebraska.

Character and Integrity are one thing, but the guy has to know whats up to agree to do it I would think. This is prime time to be out there trying to get a job as staffs turn over. He cant afford to be out recruiting for a team that may or may not retain him and honestly I wouldnt expect it of him. My guess is whoever they are talking to for the HC job was asked "Which of the current staff would you definitely want to retain?" and Warren was the answer.

Well, the 3 guys he is going to see are set to graduate HS in January and enroll at NU for the Spring semester so I am sure someone needs to go talk to them and help answer any questions they may have. Might as well be the guy that was their lead recruiter.
