I think I would feel a little more comfortable with this hire if he surrounds himself with a solid staff. Ed O would be a great start. Not only is he a solid coach, but I have heard he kills it in recruiting.

 
The only way this hire makes any sense is if there is a super staff surrounding him. If its just a so-so staff, with a so-so coach, our on the field product will be so-so. Im very nervous.

The guy we're going to miss is Kaz, which is a darn shame. Unless that situation changed?

I'd like to see new coaches on the staff for the most part, or at least guys who are willing to mesh with the new staff and direction of the program. Which sounds like Kaz's issue. Even if it was overblown, ANY of the old venom and attitude needs to be removed.
