Sorry, computer took me directly to the end of the post, had it been mentioned earlier. I don't read most of the post anymore. Too many jerks on here. I heard it this afternoon on Sirius, did not see his name mentioned/

Ahem...time to dust this one off again...

Les Miles' tenure at LSU may be over; buyout not an issue, source says

Les Miles' tenure at LSU may be coming to an end, according to a highly ranked source involved with the decision-making process.

A decision on his future is likely to come in the very near future, perhaps in the next two weeks, with many members of the football program's powerful booster club, the Tiger Athletic Foundation (TAF), ready to cut ties with Miles and start a new era in Baton Rouge.

LSU's ugly 38-17 loss to Ole Miss on Saturday night in Oxford, Miss., only fueled the momentum behind the scenes.

The source said Miles' future at LSU is not tied to the outcome of the Tigers' game against Texas A&M on Saturday at Tiger Stadium. "It will have no bearing on what we do with him", the source said.

Why is this important?

THREAD NOTE: When this thread was started back on Dec. 5, 2014, we needed a defensive coordinator. So it was no rumor that we'd be hiring one. But now we have a DC. Any surmising that he is going to be replaced is merely a rumor. (Or, for some, wishful thinking.) That's why this thread now belongs in Rumorville. Carry on.
