Received the email below. What's odd is that it was not sent to my Huskerboard email address - it was sent to my personal account which is not listed here on Huskerboard. Anyone know anything about this? I googled it and found a single article written years ago. Is there some back-story I'm unaware of? I'm assuming this is a kid brother that is sending this to Husker-related site, but wanted to be sure.

Hello my name is eric smith...and tomorrow is the anniversary of my brother who died while attending Nebraska university Lincoln. ..Jontee hall goggle it if you don't know the story...my name is not mentioned in the artice written and that's due to some family problems. .But i would like it if you did some research and wrote a new article just reminding people of his story and how much he loved Nebraska. ..I don't have to be mentioned just dont want to see this story die...Jontee was born 6 1 87...and died 1 13 06....

I don't know the story. From looking it up, Jontee Hall died at Selleck Hall on Friday, January 13th, 2006 of a brain hemorrhage.

There appears to be some reference to his mother, Sherri Hall, once being Sherri Smith, but I can't find anything that connects Jontee Hall to Eric Smith.

Can't find an obit for him.

Weird story.
