Watched the movie "Silver Linings Playbook" last night. Somehow they mixed Philadelphia Eagles football, mental illness and competitive dance into one movie--and made it entertaining. It was an okay flick.

First time I watched The Pianist . I was surprised 8.5 IMDb rating. Not bad of course but not even close to excellent. 6.0 max IMO. Downfall, Valkyrie and Schindler's are much better than Pianist. You agree?

Netflix orignal series "Marco Polo" is pretty good 4 episodes in.... I don't know how historically accurate it is, but i don't really care either. Plot line is slow to develop, or very detailed, depending on your point of view.....

Still not convinced?

Bonus: A lot of naked Chinese/Mongolian women.

I've been watching Marco Polo too. Pretty good so far. And yes, the naked Chinese chicks are a plus!

The one season (so far) Salem is pretty good. Nothing like a good dunking to make a witch confess.

btw, I think the house on the right is supposed to be the House of Seven Gables--of Nathaniel Hawthorne fame. (Or maybe it's the house on the left.)

I highly suggest Blackfish to anyone who likes well done documentaries. Very interest look in to Killer Whales at SeaWorld.

I wasnt sure going in, but my wife and i were VERY interested and it was well done. Doing some research after on it and it might have stretched the truth in some situations... but SeaWorld might be trying to cover their butts.

Just on season 1 ep 7 for Marco Polo, I think so far very good. Had to check out the NCCs twice to make sure they were indeed a bonus. They are.

Just watched "I am Ali", great documentary/biography. Whether you're a boxing fan or not if you have any respect for the man it's a must watch. It shows the behind the scenes; family and personal aspects of the loquacious fighter we all know. They used tapes he made for his kids and interviewed many of his family, kids, friends, and rivals. The guy was a great family man despite his short comings with fidelity.
