The Village of the "Banned"

I think Mr. Mantis Toboggan got the boot too. I can't click on his name but I can click on his profile picture and then it takes me to a page that says this member is no longer active......hmmmmmm.

Slowly one by one we're all getting the boot before next season starts
If so what a joke. I guess you just can't Landlord's feelings or you get banned.
Lol. That guy was pretty much the Carlos Mencia of this board anyway.
We need more of that and less of Landlord if you ask me.
Less of both would be fine with me.

Chaddy as well. Doesn't say banned, but you can't see their profile.

Differing opinions have always been allowed at HuskerBoard, which makes me think that these banishments have been the result of something more than just having a differing opinion. Now, if that reason is the use of a certain word--that one person has issue with because "it sounds gay"--well that's really, really dumb. Methinks not though. The board has usually been fair with the way it has disciplined its members. Can't see this being much different.

RotoRiot is the same thing. You can't click on his name but when you click on his profile picture again it says this poster no longer exist.

If they were suspended I believe you can still click on their username and see their profile

I just messaged Chaddy. No warning, no nothing. Can't log on. This place has officially gotten to be a joke.

Yeah, the people I was referring to weren't Chaddy or Dr. Toboggans, but Polo, SW, and AtB (by the by, is Creighton Duke still around?).

Starting to think that there's enough of an outcry to get an "official" explanation. You'll have a full-blown mutiny on your hand if you don't.

Ha ha! Looks like another three are gone, or at least vacationed. (I'm guessing gone since you can't see their profiles.) Guise, the mods/admins on this site are not that unreasonable. For example, here is a good decision rule to follow:

Decision Rule: When a mod/admin PMs you about your behavior:

  • Do: Inquire about what you've done, and discuss it in a reasonable manner.
  • Don't: Say "f#*k you", call him a name, and accuse him of bias.

Maybe I'm missing something, but this seems fairly straightfoward to me.

Say GSG, What kind of whiskey was that anyway?

None of these guys even got a warning NUance. This place has become an F'n joke.

I would say don't say "f#*k you, call him a name", but accusing him of bias is perfectly okay. The mods or admins aren't robots and will have their own set of biases. Calling them out on their biases when they are in plain sight should be accepted.
